Home Support Worker
JOB DESCRIPTION: The role involves assisting service users to maximise their independence with particular emphasis on personal care, domestic duties and companionship. Although experience is preferred it is not essential as training and support will be provided. Working as a member of the Dementia Home Care Service and in accordance with an agreed care plan provide personal care, domestic and social support to people with dementia in their own homes to enable them to maintain their ability to live independently within the community.
